Farmer's Market and Brunch
Downtown Fredericksburg is one of my favorites places to be. I love just about everything about it. One of my favorite times to go is on Saturday mornings when the Farmer's Market is in full swing and brunch is being served.
A few Saturdays ago (yes, I am VERY behind), my sister, Jeri, picked me up to go to the gym on a Saturday morning. As soon as I got in, we figured out neither of us wanted to go to the gym, so we opted to go to the Farmer's Market instead. It was a gorgeous morning and a little walk outside sounded perfect.
The farmer's market downtown is in Hurkamp Park at the corner of William Street and Prince Edward Street. Jeri's favorite vendor is a local guy who makes fresh hummus. And let me tell you, it's delicious! He makes amazing flavors.
Everything just looks so fresh!
After walking around, we were hungry so we decided to stop for brunch at Jeri's favorite restaurant, FoodE.
They just put in their new 'green' art installation and it looks amazing!
It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather!
What are some of your favorite brunch spots?
