Happy Friday!!!

I don't know about you, but this week has been a LONG one and I am so ready for the weekend. And not just any weekend, but the weekend before I go on vacation for a week! YAY! I can't wait. This is SO needed.

But before I leave, I need YOUR help!

I entered the Made in FredVA Business Plan Competition with my Fredericksburg Gift Box Idea. I wrote a business plan and made a video (a really awful one, I hate talking in front of videos, and I get so nervous, and I had a weird accidental accent, so please don't judge my plan by the awful video I put up. It's just terrible, but I didn't have the funds to pay for one. Anyways...).

The Fredericksburg Gift Box is a fantastic gift box featuring multiple local small businesses from Fredericksburg: popcorn from the Popcorn Bag, nut butter from Sprelly, bath items from Ladyburg, and paper goods from me! Each box is completely customized to the recipient with name, colors, fonts and graphics, and if the recipient is within 10 miles, we deliver it for free! I love the box because it makes a great gift for the person who has everything, and it supports multiple local businesses. It also goes great with a bottle of wine :)

The prize for the competition is $10,000 and if I win, I will use it to create an inventory in my home office of nut butters, popcorn, bath items, boxes, crinkle paper, stickers, ribbons and more and it will be used to hire someone to help me with fulfillment and deliveries. Right now it's just me, and while I have minimal inventory, most times a gift box is ordered, I have to go to each vendor within a day or so to fulfill the box. It would be awesome to have an stocked inventory.
