Weekend Adventures Part 1: Fourth of July

Happy (belated) Fourth of July! I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday celebrating the birthday of our great and free country! I celebrated with a party at my new house. My roommate and I hadn't had a housewarming yet AND it was my birthday AND the fourth of July, so we held a big 'Celebration' party for everything! It was a ton of fun and I have amazing friends who came to visit for it. I was sad to see them all go when the party was over.

We started our day visiting the Heritage Festival in Downtown Fredericksburg.

The heritage festival hosts all kinds of vendors, food, live music, etc. in downtown Fredericksburg. Including these awesome crab shell ornaments handpainted with college mascots. Bradley and I got SUPER excited when we found CNU ones. That NEVER happens!

After hitting the festival, we took a walk downtown to find some lunch.

Then we headed to this amazing place for lunch: Foode.

Not only is their food AMAZING, but the atmosphere is incredible too. We sat outside in the little alley way under the umbrellas.

After we left the Heritage Festival, it was time for the party! We even made some fun shirts for the occasion!

And what's a party without corn hole! My dad made me these boards for my birthday last year and what's so cool about them is that everyone can sign them!

It was so nice to have some of my best friends and family at the party to spend time with!
