Whitney's Bridal Shower
This past weekend I had the honor of co-hosting a bridal shower for one of the best friends, Whitney. She has been a rock in my life and one of the best, craziest, funnest people I know (which I'm sure you'll be able to see from these photos). If you don't know her, her outfit of pink with a white tutu in that pose that we like to call 'The Whitney' pretty much sums up how much fun she is. Hanging out with her is always good for my soul as she makes me laugh, isn't afraid to be real with me, and I know that I can exactly who I am with her and she'll never judge me. It makes me heart so incredibly happy that she has found someone who loves all of those things about her as much as I do. She deserves the best and someone who appreciates her for exactly who she is, and Booth does exactly that.
I am so honored to be a part of their special day as a bridesmaid and can't for October 10th to roll around for what I know is going to be the best celebration ever. This past weekend was the bridal shower and kind of marked the beginning of wedding festivities! We had such a wonderful time hosting Whitney's family, Booth's family, and all of our friends.
The food was delicious. The drinks were amazing (seriously, I'm putting the recipe at the end because the Pink Pineapple Lemonade we made was out of this world). And the company was even better. Whitney chose a Kate Spade inspired theme with Hot Pink, Cobalt Blue and Polka Dots. Of course we made a Pinterest board, which made it SO EASY to find things to decorate or make.
I helped with the invitations, organization, paper goods and party favors. This is probably one of my favorite event branding suites EVER. The party favors were mini wines with custom labels and bags of flavored popcorn from the Popcorn Bag with custom labels and ribbons. The paper goods included food tags, kate spade inspired prints, and wine labels.
I was up until WAY TOO LATE one night last week making all of these, and there's one small, but also hilarious typo somewhere in there. No one caught it until the night before, but it was so funny that we decided to keep it! If you're the first one to spot it, comment on the blog and I'll send you a pack of monogram cards!
