Caroline & David | Lexington, VA Wedding

So last week on vacation, I realized I that I barely shared any of last years wedding on the blog. I mean, BARELY. So now I am so excited to share some of our brides' stories, photos and paper goods. I know I'm a little bias, but the photos are just gorgeous!

To kick off the wedding blogs, I do have a very special one to share today. Caroline, the bride, is a friend not just from college at Christopher Newport University, or just a Phi Mu sorority sister, but one of my greatest friends. We've been through so much over the years, and I just love how close we've remained even after college.

Which made it even more special for me to be able to do all of the papergoods and centerpieces for her wedding.

Caroline was born and raised in Lexington, Virginia. And even though the groom, David, is from Maryland, I was so delighted that they not only got married in Lexington, but also incorporated it into so many aspects of their wedding. I mean, I'm talking the envelope liner of the invitation is the historic Lexington Brick, a watercolor map in the suite, each table was named after places in Lexington and we did a watercolor seating chart based on Lexington, and then, obviously, they got married in Lexington on Washington & Lee's campus.

As you've probably guessed with my love of Fredericksburg, I'm a huge fan of adding local and personal flavor to invitations and this wedding completely personified that. Caroline & David have such fun personalities, and it was such a pleasure matching their invitations to who they are.

Thank you so much, Caroline & David, for letting me be a part of your special day! It was truly an honor to be a part of. I loved having you as a bride!

And one more thing I almost forget to mention is that not only did they get married and buy a house last year, but now they are also expecting Baby Rossiello this summer! So congratulations on such an exciting and eventful year! I can't wait to meet Baby R.
