Ally & Aric | Braehead Manor Wedding

I've always been a huge believer in love. I just love...love! I love Rom-Coms, I enjoy a good Nicholas Sparks book (yes, I admit it!), and I'm just an all around a cheerleader for it. That's one of the reasons I love doing wedding invitations. To work with someone to prepare for one of the biggest, most love filled days of their lives is such an honor for me.

So I guess it should be no surprise that I love Valentine's Day. Even when I was single, I always found reasons to celebrate. And since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I decided to post this weeks blog a little early. This weeks wedding had the colors are red and white, so what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day!

Ally and Aric have been together for a long time, and I've known them both since high school. So when they got engaged and Ally contacted me to help with her invitations, I was so excited to be a part of their day! Plus, they're huge dog lovers, so during the process of meeting in my home studio or dropping items off to their house, we all got TONS of puppy time. They have two of the sweetest dogs.

Anyways! Ally & Aric got married at one of my favorite venues in Fredericksburg, Braehead Manor, in the fall and it was just a gorgeous ceremony. Ally wanted a more tradition invitation design with a stamp and an embossed monogram, which challenged me because it was my first time doing both. But I love a good challenge and am so ecstatic with how they turned out.

We did a custom monogram that was embossed to the top of each invitation, and then we did the same monogram as a stamp that we stamped on the RSVPs in red. The entire invitation suite was white except for a beautiful red envelope liner and the red stamp. It made the red so beautifully understated and I loved it.

So check out the wedding and the invitation suite below. Also, the video is awesome. You can see the gorgeous wedding and venue. Check it out here.
