Going Gardner | Roanoke Wedding
Happy Tuesday, Friends!
I've got a gorgeous fall wedding on the blog today that I am so excited to share. The bride, Kelsey, and I actually go WAYY back. We happened to attend the same summer camp together back in middle school and become really good friends. She's from southwest Virginia, and I even got to go visit her for a week over the summer. She's one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and I always enjoyed her company.
Well, as we all know how time goes by and lives change and we move on, we sadly lost touch....until last year. She reached out to my Instagram account about her wedding invitations, and I was so excited to hear from her! I love Social Media for that aspect- being able to find people that you lost contact with. I was not only excited to hear from her, but also so happy to hear about her life and see that she was so happy.
As you probably suspected, Kelsey was a delight to work with and I just loved how her invitations turned out. Her and her fiance are big UVA fans, so their wedding colors were blue and orange, and then some grey and gold. I'll be honest, I'm not typically a fan of the color orange, but it was done so well as a gorgeous, burnt accent in the wedding that this might have changed my mind on the color. I mean, look at those florals! And the wraps the bridesmaids are wearing! It's hard not to go gaga over it.
