Fredericksburg Happy Hours

 

In honor of First Friday in downtown Fredericksburg, this weeks blogs are all about the locals. Today's blog is a little something I've been working on putting together for a while now. As I've been hitting up local restaurants and looking for specials, I've been making notes of who has specials and when. Since I know I'm not the only one who enjoys a good special (drink and food), I decided it might be nice to share this little Fredericksburg Happy Hour list along with a few of my favorites!

 

 And I can't put all these specials up without mentioning a few of my favorite spots around town.

Capital Ale is a great place to try new beers (or in my case cider). They have so many on tap and even more by the bottle.

My favorite restaurant for the food is Castiglia's. They have the most AMAZING gluten-free options ever including pizza, calzones, mozzerella sticks, pizza. It is delicious.

Foode has the best local food feel and atmosphere. They take pride in supporting local businesses by using local, clean and fresh ingredients in all that they make. It's also an amazing atmosphere. Just check out last summers decor of the umbrellas?!

And lastly, my favorite cocktail and wine stop: Kybecca. Their craft cocktails are the best in town, AND they have WINE VENDING MACHINES. Yes, you read that right. You can purchase a gift card type thing from them, and swipe it to try different wines of different amounts from machines. It's pretty much the coolest thing ever.

They also have the best Shrimp and Grits and fries in town. Seriously amazing.
