First Fridays

I know, I know...it's only Monday and I'm already talking about Friday. We still have quite a few days to get through, but this Friday is special and you're invited!

The first Friday of every month is First Friday in downtown Fredericksburg. This means that the stores stay open a little later, the art galleries host exhibits and shows, and when the weather is nice there is live music and beer trucks. It's a pretty fun evening.

With the kick-off of my card lines at Monkee's this month, I was also asked to come do some painting at Monkee's for First Friday. So this Friday, I will be doing a little live painting and have some of my artwork available at Monkee's from about 4-7. I will be hanging out and chatting along with Catherine, the owner and a good friend of mine, and some of the other lovely Monkee's girls!
