Meet Morgan!

Hi everyone!!!

My name is Morgan and I am taking over the Twila & Co blog today for a little Friday Introduction! I am writing to introduce myself because I have the pleasure of interning with Twila & Co this summer! YAY!

A little bit about myself… I absolutely love nature - especially sunsets, flowers, and expanses of mountains. We live in such a beautiful world that I could talk about forever! I also love dogs (probably too much). I am the kind of person that has to stop and say hi to every dog that I see out in public, especially the big ones. Almost three weeks ago my dreams came true when I got my very own puppy!!! His name is Oakley, he is a golden retriever, and he is absolutely perfect (except for when he pees in the house and eats my shoes). I even made an Instagram account for Oakley - @mypupoakley. In just two weeks, he has more followers than me and one of the videos of him went viral with millions of views and was on the news! Crazy!

I could probably write the rest of this blog post about my dog, but I will tell you guys a little bit about my education and how I got here! I just graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina. I absolutely loved UNCW and living at the beach was a dream! I got my degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Recreation, Sports Leadership, and Tourism Management. I can’t say exactly what I want to do for a career, but I am definitely interested in the events industry, marketing, graphic design, or something similar!

I am so excited to be interning with Johnna this summer at Twila & Co! I have been working with her for a couple weeks now and it has already been so wonderful! She even lets me bring my puppy to work (THE best). I am so excited to learn from her. I can’t wait to learn the ins and outs of what it looks like to own a small business, how to use the design software, and the branding process! I will be helping out with a lot of Twila’s social media, so I am pumped to grow and refine those skills. There are so many things that I probably don’t even know that I am going to learn from Johnna and I am so excited.
