Brand Assessment | Night and Daye Events

I know you've heard me talk about our Brand Assessment before. Mostly because it's the newest addition to our branding services. I've been working on a few of them lately, and oh my gosh, I am just LOVING it.

Don't get me wrong...if I had the opportunity to do the full branding and website, obviously, I would absolutely LOVE to do that. However, I love the Brand Assessment for a lot of reasons, the main one being that I love helping others, and especially helping others help themselves. I'm a super self-sufficient person, I like doing things for myself. So if I can provide some tools to help someone take their own brand to the next level, I'm all about it!

If you don't know what the Brand Assessment is, check it out on one of our previous blog posts here

Anyways! Over the summer, I got to work with a fellow CNU Alumni, and I couldn't be more proud of what she's done with her website and brand. Sarah of Night and Daye Events emailed me about needing some help with her brand. She loved her logo (and I agree, it's gorgeous) but couldn't seem to get the rest of her website and brand to match up.

She came to me with a very dark website. Mostly because of the images she had. And while I loved the blue color she had from her logo, it also gives a dark feel when you use too much. Her logo was nowhere to be seen on her website, and the organization needed a little help. And I can't say I was a huge fan of the template either....

So I recommended finding new, bright, whiter photos that showcased her work and to make sure her logo was seen on her website. I also put together a brand style guide for her (shown to the right) with a palette of colors that complimented her logo nicely and still gave that kind of beachy vibe. Same goes with the fonts.

So I sent her a lot of information and this style guide and couldn't wait to see what she came back with...

And here it is...

I mean, how amazing, right?! Her new website looks incredible! It looks like 2 different companies almost. Sarah did such an amazing job taking my feedback and bringing it to life, and I couldn't be happier for her.

Thanks so much for working with me, Sarah! You were such a doll and I just love what you've done with your business so far. I can't wait to see where it takes you!
