Happy Veterans Day!
First and foremost, Happy Veterans Day! I am so thankful to those who have dedicated their lives and service to this country and to our freedom.
To thank those who serve, we have a new initiative we're rolling out for the holidays and I couldn't think of a better week to do so than this week with the election, the Marine Corps Birthday and Veterans Day.
So if you guessed that it was about our troops and veterans, you guessed right!
Our new program is with Love, Virginia Gift Boxes and is called Send to a Soldier.
Send to a Solider is first and foremost about getting the gift boxes to troops on base or overseas or to veterans for the holidays. We've put together special, military friendly boxes at a discounted rate to be shipped over.
But there's two parts to it because we can't do it all ourselves...
Part 1: We Need Names.
I know a lot of soldiers, but I need to know more! So we're starting a list of names of soldiers who could use a holiday gift box. All you have to do is fill out our contact form on the Send to a Soldier Page and we'll add your soldier's name to the list.
Part 2: We Need Sponsors.
If you're thinking about doing something for the soldiers away from their families this holiday season, we're here to help! If you sponsor a box, we'll match it up to our list for you and send it off. All you have to do is purchase one of our Send to a Soldier Boxes. We can send the box to someone you know, or we will match you up with someone on our list.
If the box is going to a veteran and not a base address, please provide a military ID to lovevirginiagiftboxes@gmail.com.
Our goal is just to bring a little holiday cheer to those serving our country and those who have served our country. And for every 10 boxes we sell, we'll sponsor an additional box to the next person on our list.
Lastly, now through Sunday, we're giving 11% off all purchases made in both of our stores!
